More and More Things To Do

I need to insert a few personal to-do’s on my currently long list of to-do’s.  The items include a hair trim, a manicure-pedicure and a 2nd round of massage.  All of them should be completed before mid-November flies by.  I want to feel a tad better because I have been really neglecting myself big time.  I am not complaining, I love being a housewife.  I just need to allow myself to relax and be pampered a wee bit more.  My weight gain of late adds to the must-attend-to-soon-enough list and as time drags on I’m worried I just might buy lipofuze to solve my weight issue.

Erratic Sleeping Pattern

My 1 year old boy will soon outgrow his cot.  He still sleeps on it right now but has been quite restless the past nights that he wakes after each feed really grouchy.  The analyst in me narrowed down potential reasons why his bedtime routine has become a nightmare for all of us.  And it is likely because he needs a bigger bed.  We are considering to  buy him his own bed, but we are also thinking that upgrading to a king size bed might just be what we need.  So any suggestions, anyone?  Nothing fancy like pine beds, okay?  *wink*

Pre-packaged Meals, Anyone?

Despite my busy day to day schedule, I try my very best to serve healthy foods to my family.  For me it is parallel to setting up a good eating habit for my kids, which is equally important to me.  There are challenging days, however, when I wish I have quick access to nutrisystem foods.  From nutrisystem reviews that I have read, one can’t go wrong getting specially prepared meals based on one’s diet requirements.  One of these days, I should really give it a try.

We Almost Didn't Make It

To our tax accountant meeting that is. And that is all because of missing documents required to complete our filing. I am swamped with so many things happening at once in our household that the last thing I want to do is sort and file. I knew slacking in that not-so-important chore will soon bite me in the rear and it did. My husband at the last minute looked for files that I don’t even recall seeing. In a small household such us ours, one would think that we need document management solutions just to keep our files up to date.

More Healthy Options

I have read a while ago that the benefits of flax seed oil is comparable to taking multivitamins as it also targets many areas in our body.  And the research also states that flax seed oil tastes much better than fish oil.  For people who find taking vitamins a challenge, like me, then that is really a plus.  However, there might probably little marketing on flax seed oil and it is possible that it is only available in health & wellbeing stores.

My House Project

I am happy that we had a relaxing and at the same time productive weekend.  We manage to buy a few pieces of furniture for our living room and with a few more touches, the living area will soon look like how I envisioned it to be.  However, my husband has yet to finish his ‘assignment’ of setting up the DVD player, Wii and PS3 in the TV stand.  Although it has been a long while since the Wii was used and my daughter has yet to learn to play it, I still prefer the Wii to be placed in there in case she eventually wants to play with it.  Or maybe I should get myself a Wii Fit to make the console useful.

No Green Thumb

Of all potential  hobbies that I can have now that I am a stay-at-home mom, gardening will never be one of them.  Although I love flower bouquets, that love doesn’t extend to the point of wanting to learn the art of gardening.  But for people like me who are not ‘gifted’ with the passion and skill to plant and nurture seeds, there is what they call hydroponic systems that let you grow plants without the need for soil.  While the technology requires some time to learn, it sounds much easier than doing the actual soil gardening.  Interesting, isn’t it?

It Never Ends

I am once again contemplating to switch hosting services.  I have no complaints except maybe for the pricey fee I pay annually.  Now that I’m not actively blogging on my personal sites, I feel that I’m wasting money.  On the other hand, my worry is ending up with a hosting company that will initially promise you the sun and moon, cool services like dedicated or managed hosting service only to drop you like a hot potato once you sign-up.  I have less than six months to decide and eventually take a dive, once again.

Say What?

There is a website guru that was featured in a popular morning show here in Sydney.  He spoke of websites that have funny names.  Yes, the techie person that he is, he took time and effort to collect the names or URLs of people’s sites or blogs that have double-meaning.  I wonder if there is a list of websites that are deem to “technical” and that is difficult to remember like www.chromiumpolynicotinate.org.
