A Different Lifestyle

Though we don’t have plans of moving out of the house that we are currently renting, my husband and I still check out property websites from time to time.  We want to be updated with the property market, check the in-demand suburbs and know of new properties being built.  One time, we came across really nice houses with beautiful gardens, outdoor fireplaces, verandas and well-kept backyards.  After going over the details, my husband and I thought to ourselves that if we are to buy a property in a year or two, we want our future house to be simple (read as: requiring less maintenance).  In this country where labor is expensive, who will do all the cleaning and maintenance work?

DIY Calendars

For the past two years, I had planned on making personalized calendars to be given to families and friends.  I bought kits from Digital Scrapbooking sites and in both occasions, they went to waste.  They are pretty simple to do it’s just that the printing part turned out to be a hassle if not that it involves too much work.  Maybe next time, I should inquire from printing companies that make promotional calenders if they accept printing of small volumes of calendars and how much the costs will be.

Too Excited

Time really flies fast.  We are already on the 2nd quarter of 2010 and soon I should be shopping for kids ties.  My son will wear his first ever suit for a wedding and of course it needs a matching tie.  I’m looking forward to that event because both my kids will all be dressed up and for sure I will not get tired lugging my heavy camera where ever we go that day.

Precious Time

I’m still getting used to shopping for my groceries at the new mall nearby.  I’ve gotten used to the other mall for my weekly grocery needs that I can pinpoint which aisle to get certain items.  But I’m not complaining.  In fact, I prefer the new mall as it is very close to my daughter’s daycare centre.  I’m giving myself a month to get used to the supermarket’s orientation and hopefully by then I won’t have to pass by the aisle where weight loss products are displayed, it is just a waste of precious time.
