I have to say goodbye to my size XS (extra small) and S (small) sized clothes when I go back to Sydney. Because I have a feeling that I will never go back to that thin frame, ever. It’s not that I want to, if not for leaving my old wardrobe behind, I like my built now. Although I could live without the flabs, which cannot be targeted by slimming pills alone. But hey, you can’t have everything in life. Having a healthy and happy family more than compensates for my not-so-perfect figure.

A Natural High
One afternoon last week, I spent 4 straight hours of non-stop shopping! (It was like on a natural testosterone high! Ha ha) I used to find shopping a chore, honestly! But last week was different. I guess I enjoyed the fact that I was out shopping by myself and was spending those hours just for me, me and me alone. And because I enjoyed that brief time immensely, I may have to make a regular thing!
A Newbie's Hobby
I have yet to do a fair bit of tinkering on my daughter’s blog. Yes folks, I gave in to temptation of creating yet another blog. But this time, my motivation is to hone my daughter’s interest in art or photography. She gives out this laughter and giggles whenever she holds the camera and I knew taking photos make her really happy. I may submit her blog to web directories, who knows, she may get encouragement and tips from pros who stumbles upon her site! But in order to that, I need to read more about these or I can just click here to learn more.
Too Legit
Many acne sufferers in the past were left clueless on important information such as related products and treatments. Thanks to the Internet, which has a wealth of advice and tips as well as product reviews. One just needs to be cautious on which website to trust. Not all severe acne sites are like www.severeacne.org, which can be considered as a legit source for tips and reviews. So head off to the site
Scrub-a-Rub
Leaving used plates and glasses on kitchen sinks used to be ‘unacceptable’ for me. I couldn’t stand seeing piles of dirty tablewares left for hours on end. But that’s only until I had two young kids and have learned to schedule the times I will spend dish washing. It is true that kids teach you a lot of things. One of them is prioritizing. It is not practical to spend time agonizing over chores that are left undone.
Mini-Breaks
This year has got to be the ‘busiest’ for us in our household. And it is a welcome respite for me and my husband to plan for day trips, mini-vacations when we get the chance. Of course, a major vacation is in order once the kids are a bit older. By then, we will be booking trips to Disneyland, Universal Studios and who knows, probably we need to book for Outer Banks vacation rentals, too. My husband will agree, we are so looking forward to holidays!
Tidy Up Time
Once we have settled in Sydney in April, I am planning to tidy up what is currently our apartment’s storage room. I am ‘dreaming’ to convert a corner of it into a study area where we could set-up our computer, printer and fax machine. What I see as the constraints though are my iMac’s huge screen and the bulky fax machine. Thankfully, the printer is not as big as a tm-t88iv model, otherwise, I may have to abort my plan all together. We might buy a new desk and shelf to house all three. I hope my plan works out.
Way Ahead
My aunt in the U.S. shared with me over the phone that she had her house renovated. Last time I was there, she shared with me that she wanted her ‘project’ done before she retires in 2012. I’m happy that she finished it way before her retirement year. With that, she invited me and my family to visit them in the U.S. Of course, I told her, that that is in our plan. We will get the first opportunity to bring our kids to Disney vacations and all the other touristy and kid-friendly places in the U.S. Even if it is far-off, I’m excited about it. I just hope it happens soon!
Shopping Spree
I have been planning to do a bit of shopping before we leave for Sydney. I need to update my wardrobe because six months after I had given birth, I still haven’t gone back to my pre-pregnancy built. Although my weight right now is okay as I was underweight prior my second pregnancy.
So, what do i buy? High-end brands for tops, jeans or shoes? Of course, not. Even if I have the money, I don’t see myself spending it for a pair of Christian Louboutin, for example. After all, I have been and always will be, a simple gal.
Cute as Can Be
My little boy received several jackets as Christmas gifts. There is one denim, one faux leather and two of what looks like Nascar jackets. Yep, he will look like a man’s man when he wears them for sure. And I’ll make a mental note to post photos of him wearing those gifts come winter time. I just hope he’ll be comfortable wearing them.
