My daughter, at 2 1/2 years old, already knows how to use the computer’s mouse. I know it’s not really something to be ‘brag’ about because I would rather see her enjoy scribbling letters or doodling rather than facing the computer but it can’t be helped. There’s not a day that we don’t have at least one of the computers switched on at home.
Her fascination for computers doesn’t end there. She knows how to operate the camera function of our cellular phones, too. She even says, “1, 2, 3, Smile!” before pressing the button. Hmm, I need to find ways to divert her attention to more child-friendly activities.
