I remember blogging about getting into an exercise regimen as soon as I’ve given birth to my second child. Now that the big day is getting closer, I am reminded to make this (getting fit, i.e.) a priority. Experiencing pregnancy/childbirth the second time around can really take a toll to one’s health and it is best to help our bodies recover from it by maintaining a good and balanced diet and regular exercise. And that leaves no room for taking any quick fixes such as diet supplements or pills.

Nine Days to Go
Just nine days to go and I’ll be a mom for the second time around. I can imagine how chaotic the first few days (or months) will be in our household, with all the adjustments in our day to day routine. What I know though is, once we have settled, the husband and I will be enjoying our two bundles of joy. And I hope that along with the changes, I would also learn how to trim down or how to lose belly fat fast! *crossing toes* Hee.
Amazing Sydney
The first time we drove around the city of Sydney, I was so amazed on how certain old buildings were preserved and are very much functioning as offices to this day. There are a lot of modern structures (like steel buildings) of course but the old ones add a unique ‘flavor’ to the busy city. There are a lot of things to see here in Sydney and the city center is just one of them.
The Little Girl Has Done It Again
When I was using my Dell laptop regularly, she broke the keyboard. Now that I’m letting her use the iMac without supervision, (she usually just plays with the Photobooth app), she almost broke the mouse. Good thing I didn’t choose to upgrade to a wireless mouse at the time we bought the desktop, otherwise, I’d be crying right now. If only these machines can withstand the hands of little kids like her, make it as durable as industrial computers, then I won’t have to worry anymore.
Gearing Up for Summer
With the long winter season finally over, people are already gearing up for the coming Summer. Stores are now selling swim/beach wear and the media taking advantage of this by advertising weight loss programs or diet pills options. Beaches and parks will soon be packed with people. It will be a great time to plan for long drives and weekend get-aways. Ah, the beauty of summer!
TV or the Internet?
If my husband and I are to choose between TV or the Internet, we’d pick the Internet anytime. That is why we never considered getting cable subscription despite the advent of HD TV, Bell TV or TiVo. This rubs off on our daughter who seems to ignore cartoons and other kids’ shows. She’s been a fan of the Wiggles, Hi-5, Dora and will watch mainly those shows on DVD. I think it’s a good thing. It reinforces our decision not to subscribe to cable anytime soon.
