We’re planning to upgrade our bed from queen to king size. Woohoo! We’ve had our bed for nearly five years and although it is still in pretty good condition, we feel that we need to upgrade because of our growing family. Ha! Yes, our daughter and new baby can co-sleep with us for as long as they want to. Or maybe, for as long as the husband and I want to. Hee hee. I have seen a couple of great brands but I have preference for PosturePedic. Some stores offer to get your sleep number bed so that they can customize the mattress to your “sleeping requirements”. Some offer a complete bedroom showcase but for now, we just need a good mattress replacement.

Far From Being Wasteful
Sometimes I wish my ‘weakness’ is into chocolates or cakes or coffee and not with electronics. If I would let this ‘weakness’ rule over me, maybe I’d go on a spending spree and get an Boss Ipod Dock, a 50mm 1.2 lens for my DLSR, a huge flat screen TV, a new entertainment, a Pioneer sound system for our car and many, many other gadgets. But of course, I have no reason to go wild over spending our hard-earned money and with that I’m sure my husband’s very happy. *wink*
What Now?
This domain is set for renewal this July. Funny that at the start, I aimed to make this a recipe blog where I will document my kitchen adventures and experiments. But as time went by, I find documenting recipes and taking photos of my end product are a big effort. So now, this has become another “working blog” instead where you’ll find posts about appliances, insurance or equestrian apparel.
Work From Home Options
If I ever decide to take on a work-from-home job, I wonder what job will that be? Definitely not in the arts and crafts area, although I wish I had the knack for doing etsy-qualified stuff to sell. How about the medical field? I heard back in Manila that if you finish any medical coding training courses, you can work for hospitals and code doctor’s transcripts at the comfort of your home. But I doubt if it medical coding can present the challenge I need to keep up with the job. Hmm.
Sort, Sort and File!
I’m inching my way to finishing my filing tasks. Last week, I’ve got all the files together, all sorted and all the ‘trash’ (e.g. life insurance quotes, receipts, old bank statements) have been torn (our paper shredder’s broken) and thrown away. I just need to put the remaining documents into their respective folders this weekend and voila, I’m done! Yey!
Digital Crafts
As early as next week, I can start drafting my very own digital scrapbook layouts for the new baby. I can put in the few ultrasound scans that I have and if time permits, I can do some sample layouts for baby announcements, too. It’s going to be exciting, really. I’ll be posting them to my personal blog as soon as they’re done.
