I’m glad that I got my appetite back. I am now trying to make up for weeks of involuntarily ‘starving’ myself, no thanks to pregnancy related mood swings and terrible nausea. I have been craving cakes though for some reason. Not ordinary cakes but ice cream cakes! I’m trying my darnest best to control this craving because I don’t want to put on unnecessary weight and feed my unborn baby with unhealthy stuff. And, in the name of vanity, I don’t want to end up taking the best diet pills around when the time comes that I want to lose my pregnancy weight.

An Enticing Offer
Our photographer friends from San Francisco proposed to be my cousin’s wedding photographer, offering a wee bit cheaper rate (because we are good friends) and not charging for their San Diego CA hotel stay. It is quite an enticing offer but I’m leaving the decision to my cousin and his fiancee. Too bad our family won’t be able to make it to the wedding but we sure are planning for a reunion soon.
Fancy a Laptop?
Laptops are getting fancier and fancier these days. Aside from the colors, laptop covers now come in a variety of designs. Some carry the ‘funky’ look and others have the plain, glossy or matte casing. I’ve always stayed on the ‘safe’ side and bought the standard gray casing for laptops. I don’t know, aside from gray, the next best for me is Mac’s clean and sleak white cover. But what recently caught my eye though is Sony Vaio‘s pocket PC. The maroon glossy casing looks so neat and appealing. Cute isn’t it?

Pursue Your Passion
I like it when I hear stories of people finding their passions in life. Whether it is related to photography, music or other forms of art, I just feel good for them, especially when they share how much they enjoy what they do. I believe all of us have this so called ‘passion’ nestled in our hearts. It is a matter of determining and pursuing it. That passion may not be a great source of money or can only be a part-time hobby but what’s important is we pursue it. We should know what our calling is. Is it to be a musician? A painter? (Or a mig welder?) Life’s too short.
Idea-brew
I have this idea brewing in my head that could help make use of the humungous space I have on my database as well as help me earn some more moolah for my nice-to-have techie-stuff shopping budget. I still have to talk to a few techie friends if the effort and the minimal profit I’d make is worth it. Hmm, I’m pretty excited about it though. The same idea came to mind last year but my busy-ness and lack of confidence then convinced me to forget about the whole thing.
Having said that, I will know in a couple of days if I will pushthrough with this small business idea. Or else, I might consider selling weight loss products instead! Ha! Kidding.
Travel Plans
Someday, we hope to bring our little girl to the U.S. for her to see and experience Universal Studios and Disneyland. A cousin of mine who used to live in Florida said that nothing beats Disneyland Orlando. I can’t agree with him as yet because I haven’t been to Florida myself. But he could be right and the only way for us to know is for us to include Orlando vacations in our itinerary.
Wanted: Kitchen Mixer
I’m planning to buy a kitchen mixer but I’m clueless about the brands and types out there. I just need something simple yet durable. Any recommendations? I’d appreciate it.
